Creating To-Do’s in BuilderTrend: Required Information / What’s Needed.
Assignment
- You must assign the To-Do to another user / department or nobody will see it.
- Please be sure to assign the To-Do to the correct person / department (information / key below)
Required Fields
- Title – Type a general title for your To-Do.
- Type of Request – Select the applicable type(s) from the dropdown menu/list. You may select more than one option.
Example for multiple selections: Fill-In and Package Change. - Reason – Select the most appropriate option from the dropdown menu/list. If none applies, select Other.
Other Fields
- Details / Explain Why – Please briefly explain the “Why”.
- Subcontractor Assignments – This is where you tell us which subcontractor the To-Do relates to. If you’re requesting a Labor PO for a Service Work Order (SWO) or Extra Work Order (EWO) we need to know which sub to pay, back charge, etc.
- Materials – This is where you enter details related to material requests.
Examples: 40) 2x4x10 PT, 30) 2x4x10 SYP, 20) 2x4x10 Spruce, 10) 7/16 OSB.
